Open Front Page from StartgtPrograms

• 1. Select File New Web
• 2. Select Personal Web
• 3. Your web will be saved in
• My Documents on the C drive 2

Front Page Has 6 Views located on the left panel

• 1. Click on the Navigation Bar
• 2. Left click once on Home Page
• 3. Right click on Home Page and select Rename
• 4. Type in Name of your Website
• 5. Repeat steps 1-3 for each
• Parent Page

To add Child Pages

• 1. Left click once on Your Web to select it for
  adding a new page.
• 2.Right click and selectNew Page
• 3.Rename the child level pages as previously
  instructed
•

Page View

• Select Page view to see how your page will
  appear to others on the Internet.
• It is from this view that you edit your page.

Navigation Bars

• The Hyperlinks at the top and sides of your page
  are called Navigation Bars
• These take you to other places on the web or
  internet
• All you have to do is click on them
•

Formatting Text and Graphics

• Adding text or graphics is a snap! Just remember
  that Front page double spaces unless you tell it
  otherwise.
• If you want to single space press ctrl and
  enter at the same time.
• If you are using pictures it is wise to place
  them in a table to lock in place.7

Changing The Theme

• 1.Right click on your page and select Theme
• 2. The Vivid colors box deepens hue.
• 3. The Active Graphics causes a color change in
  graphics as the mouse passes over them.
• 4. The Background box adds graphics.

Publishing your Web

• 1. Save your FrontPage Web by clicking File
  Save.
• 2. Click on File Publish
• 3. Select Publish Changed Pages Only
• 4. Type in your web address.
• 5. Type in your name and password-
• then click OK

Creating Hyperlinks

• 1. In Page view on your home page select the text
  you wish to hyperlink.
• 2. Highlight Text and right click. Select
  Hyperlink
• 3. The hyperlink box appears.
• 4. Type in the URL that you want the link to go
  to and clickOK 10
