DPCP VISION STATEMENT
  • The mission of the Division of Prevention and
  • Community Partnerships (DPCP) is two-fold
  • (1) to prevent child abuse and family violence
    through community-based partnerships and programs
    that strengthen and support families
  • (2) to support relevant and effective services
    for victims of domestic violence that emphasize
    safety, permanency, wellbeing and healing.

DPCP GOALS
  • The Division of Prevention and Community
    Partnerships (DPCP) will promote a continuum of
    prevention and intervention programs, with a
    strong emphasis on primary prevention.
  • DPCP is committed to provide the resources and
    technical assistance needed to maintain a robust
    network of public-private partnerships and
    programs.

DPCP STRATEGIES
  • DPCP has adopted two primary strategies for
    prevention and
  • intervention school-linked services and
    community-based services.
  • These two portals allow for the broadest access
    to families.

  • Our focus will include child-care centers,
    pre-schools, K-12
  • schools, and after-school programs as a means of
    individual and
  • family engagement.
  • 02. Community-Based Organizations
  • We will engage individuals and families through
    formal and informal
  • networks of community-based prevention and
    intervention
