• Provides additional correctional sanctions for
  supervision and treatment vs. jail incarceration
  alone.
• Allows for better management of limited jail
  space by allowing qualified individuals to be
  confined in their home under strict supervision.
• Affords public safety at the offenders expense.
• Offers improved compliance rates due to intense
  monitoring.
