effective Safety Management System is provided

- The minimum period required for processing the
application is about one month from the date of
receipt of application along with properly
formulated aerodrome manual to allow for detailed
consideration and inspection of the aerodrome
before the issue of a Certificate Section 2.5.1
of ACCP.

associated documents for acceptance/approval by
DAAR, CAA Pakistan in accordance with the

Certificate - If the assessment was unsuccessful DAAR should
formally notify the applicant, stating reasons
why the aerodrome Certificate has not been
granted - major findings were observed which affect on
safety of aircraft operations - aerodrome operator need to submit the corrective
action plan on those findings and rectify
accordingly. - After submission by the aerodrome operator an
action taken report to DAAR, the follow up
inspection may be planned.
41Aerodrome Certification Procedures
- Step 4 Grant or Refusal of Aerodrome
Certificate - If the assessment was successful, DAAR will
- formally notify the applicant, and
- provide an aerodrome Certificate with validity of
three years period subject to certain conditions,
if deemed necessary. - Exemptions to non-compliances with certain
Regulations/ Requirements would be granted if the
aerodrome operator had applied for with full
justification and submission of report on safety
assessment carried out.
