I grew up in a big old house

  • Sixteen rooms
  • Oak bookshelves
  • Lots of places to hide
  • Fishpond in the Garden

The current owners painted it pink!

My little mistake

  • the board game Clue?
  • I thought that was our
  • house. Such was my
  • delight and pride in our
  • old house.

A great place to grow up
  • Lots of sports
  • Fun, kooky people
  • Great restaurants
  • Wear whatever you like
  • Birkenstocks even in the eighties
  • Plaid logger shirts
  • Toques
  • Public library had stories with Helen

Nelsons 15 minutes of fame
  • When I was 10, Steve
  • Martin and Darryl
  • Hannah came
  • to Nelson to make the
  • movie ROXANNE.
  • I spent the summer
  • watching them shoot
  • scenes over and over.

  • English Literature. I
  • wanted Literature
  • with a capital L! I got it.

Baking in the mountains

  • baker at the Moraine
  • Lake Lodge in the
  • Valley of the Ten Peaks,
  • near Lake Louise. They
  • called me Pastry Girl.
  • What a time I had!

There is no way to describe this beauty!

  • Reading all day!
  • Second hand everything!
