QUICK FACTS

• Born in New Westminster, BC in January 1978
• Both my grandmother and father have worked in
  libraries
• At age seven, I in fact played library with my
  best friend
• We carefully drew up index cards for all our
  books and dutifully signed them out to each other
• Loan periods were negotiable ?

I currently live in Vancouver (Kitsilano) with
Beau, my fiance, and Chula and Le Mew, our two
dearly beloved cats

  years ago

TRAVELS

• I absolutely love to travel! Perhaps my most
  memorable trip was
• Backpacking around Europe with a few of my
  closest friends in the summer of 1999. We
  visited
• England (London, Sheffield)
• Scotland (Edinburgh, Glasgow)
• Belgium (Bruges)
• France (Paris)
• Italy (Florence, Rome, Venice)
• Czech Republic (Prague)
• Sweden (Stockholm, Uppsala)

EDUCATION

• Graduated from UBC with a B.A. in Honours English
  in 2002
• Wrote my Honours thesis on issues surrounding
  gender and theatre in Jane Austens Mansfield
  Park
• Austen has been my favorite author for many years!
