  • The Institute for Data Center Professionals
    (IDCP) is responsible for testing and certifying
    data center professionals as qualified to be
    addressed as a Certified Data Center Professional
    (CDCP).
  • The Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP)
    certification is for administrators and those
    making inroads into the data center profession
    who need broader technical skills in systems and
    software, networking, facilities management,
    operations and process management, product
    development and financial planning, security, as
    well as enhanced interpersonal, organizational

Certificate in Data Center Technology
  • The Data Center Technology Certificate provides a
    fast-track certificate for those making inroads
    into the data center profession who need
    technical skills in systems and software,
    networking, facilities management, operations and
    process management, security, and product
    development financial planning. The certificate
    program also allows a student to earn 29
    undergraduate credits that can be applied towards
    a Marist bachelor's degree. The program
    culminates with a real-world system development
    project experience.
  • Admissions Criteria
  • Minimum 50 college credits or equivalent life
    experience or employment in a technology related
    job for 5 years
  • Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet
    use (non-credit workshops are available to meet
    this requirement)
  • Three years of high school mathematics or college
    equivalent

  • For students interested in completing a
    bachelor's degree or earning a second bachelor's
    degree with a focus on Data Center Technology,
    Marist College offers the bachelor's degree in
    Integrative Studies with concentrations in
    Information Systems and Information Technology.
    The Data Center Technology accelerated cohort
    program is a unique 100 online undergraduate
    program designed for successful adult students
    with significant work experience who wish to
    complete the last 53 credits of their bachelor's
    degree in the study of Data Center Technology.
  • Admissions Criteria
    Courses Required
  • 22 years of age or older
  • Successfully completed a minimum of 67 semester
  • credits of transferable coursework from an
  • accredited institution(s) of higher
    learning.
  • Relevant work experience or the equivalent
  • College-level writing ability
  • Minimum of three years of high school
  • mathematics or college equivalent
  • Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet
    use
  • Grade point average of 2.5 or above from previous
  • college-level work
  • Completed the Data Center Technology application
  • package
