for the PD-21, MSSE and MSA programs, NPS is
offering an online four-course IST Fundamentals
Certificate Program presented in sequence CS

Database Technology
9Systems Analysis Certificate
Four, fully-accredited courses delivered totally
online over a one year period are the core for
the MSA curriculum. The SA Certificate can also
be used as an elective track for the PD-21 and
MSSE programs. It will challenge the student
academically and address current problems of
interest to the Department of Defense. The
courses will be OS2080 - Introduction to Naval
Analysis OS3380 - Combat Systems
Simulation OS3680 - Naval Tactical Analysis
OS4680 - Naval Systems Analysis Additionally,
during the latter three classes, students will
apply newly gained knowledge and techniques to a
Capstone Project that will address an operational
challenge with immediate and/or long-term
relevance to the Navy.  Â
10eFIST Fundamentals of Information Systems
Technology
This program is designed to provide a basic
foundation of knowledge and skills in the
information technology field. Courses are
web-based and (electronically) delivered entirely
online. The courses are presented in the
following sequence IS 2000 Introduction to
Information Technology Management IS 2020
Introduction to Object-Oriented Programming using
Microsoft Visual Basic .Net IS 2502 Network

11MCT Masters of Computer Technology Degree
- This 16-course professional degree program is
designed to provide flexible, high quality,
technical graduate education. All courses are
taught by experienced NPS faculty. The MCT degree
program is a fully web-based program.
