Performance Enhancement sub team - New(Colin

• Scope of work - concentrate on fracturing/stimulat
  ion.
• Define new WITSML Object plus intelligent use of
  existing objects.
• Business Case Customer report and loaded into
  databases - business value is to have object that
  defines how data is delivered.
• Deliverables
• Near term Basic Fracturing Use case (to enable
  post job report generation)
• Near term Definition of logical data model for
  object that defines-
• General frac job summary
• what was left in the ground / pumped from the
  ground,
• zone info,
• multiple treatments per well, many treatments
  per zone
• Longer term additional use cases to define
  flavors of fracturing activities
• (acidizing, sand control, conformance, etc.)
• Not currently including real-time delivery
• Time frame / Goal - Basic object to be included
  in into 1.4.1 release.
• Requirements to Technical Team by end of August

  advantages of WITSML
• Define generic business case matrix where WITSML

  utilizing WITSML.
• Deliverable Advantage documentation to be used
  to support new deployment.

• Scope of work Definition of behavioral
  characteristics of different server types
• More difficult than it sounds .
• Key to enabling Interoperability
• A new approach Vendors to provide their own
  Server profiles.
• Major Service companies have committed to
  provide these, which should assist client and
  server deployments.
• Deliverables - Definition of key behaviors that
  are currently seen across server deployments that
  adversely affect interoperability.
• Self defined server profiles from clients to be
  published on Energistics site.
• Time frame / Goal
• Define correct behavior as part of 1.4.1
  release.
• Publish example behaviors supported within
  current 1.3.1.1

• Scope Define and deploy WITSML Certification
  program.
• Complete definition and roll out of Phase1 Server
  Certification
• Finalise updates to phase 1 queries and datasets
• Define components of Phase 2 certification
  program.
• Agree on queries set to be used
• Source suitable real world dataset needs to
  include
• All objects
• Real World data e.g. gaps etc.
