Jason Walker is a member of the Society for Human
Resource Management and Society for Industrial
and Organizational Psychology. He has held
memberships with The Canadian Association of
Public Health, The Canadian College of Health
Services Executives (CHE), The Canadian
Association of Epidemiology and Biostatistics
(CEBA), and The Canadian Hospital Infection
Control Association, National Committee. He has
also had multiple community board appointments
including The Boys and Girls Club, St. John
Ambulance and Police Victim Services. In the past
Jason Walker worked with many renowned
organizations in Victoria BC. He served as
Adjunct Professor at the prestigious University
of Victoria. He not only taught undergraduate and
graduate students but also worked as their

mentor. He was a registered Clinical Counselor
in Victoria where worked with clients on a range
of personal issues including sexual abuse. Jason
Walker held many prestigious positions with
prominent private and public companies in
Victoria BC. Currently Jason Walker owns the
McPherson Group HR Inc., in Victoria BC. He deals
with human resource issues, policies, research
and investigations that involve
harassment,bullying and other internal issues. He
is a senior consultant and provides corporate and
human resource solutions for varied policy and
operational issues as well as crisis management.
He has gained enriching experience in health care
administration and operations, social services,
industrial organizational psychology, emergency
services, and people

management. Due to exceptional performance and
dedicated approach, Jason Walker has received
various rewards including The Order of St. John
Medal- Priory of Canada, the Blue and Gold Circle
Award by University of Victoria BC. He won
scholarships including the TD Canada Trust
Scholarship for Outstanding Community Leadership,
as well as scholarships from of Calgary,
University of Toronto and McMaster University he
