Title: Traditional Indian Kurtas for men
1Mens Kurtas Traditional and Contemporary
2As time changes, the style of traditional Indian
dresses for men have also changed. It has
included many different designs and styles of
outfits, but the one type of outfit that has
consistently been worn is a Kurta. A simple kurta
is just a long tunic of knee length. This dress
is loosely fitted with long sleeves and sometimes
buttoned front placket.
3Casual wear kurtas are generally made of cotton
and silk is used for occasion driven dressing.
Sometimes richer fabric such as brocades are also
used for making elaborate looking Kurta. In the
traditional looking kurtas embroidery designs are
used in the front, sleeves and shoulders which
sometimes depends upon the region. Lucknow Chikan
is an example elegant designing.
4Kurtas are traditionally worn over payjamas
(loose pants) or sometimes with churidaars also
which is the tight version of payjamas. But
normally churidaar is used occasionally where as
payjamas can be used for formal or casual events.
Sometimes in occasions festivals a stole or
dupatta can also be used with the kurta payjama
but it is optional. Kurta is a very fine creation
of Indian Designer for Men.
