Background info

• Mr. Neil Armstrong was the first man to walk on
  the moon. However, it all started when he was
  born in Wapakoneta, Ohio on August 5th,1930. He
  is still living today, Hes 77 years old. Neil
  had two siblings, June and Dean. Over 15 years
  he moved to 20 different towns repeatedly. In
  1944, Neil Later on, he married Janet Shearson in
  1956. He has 2 sons Eric and Mark. He also had
  a daughter named Karen but she died when she was

Accomplishment
accomplishments

• Neil went to the N.A.S.A. astronaut training
  program in 1962 . Also, Neil was the first human
  to walk on the moon in 1969. Then, he was
  awarded the congressional space medal of honor by
  president Jimmy Carter. In 1994, there was a
  celebration in honor of the twenty-fifth
  anniversary of Apollo.11, which was the flight
  that Neil took when he walked on the moon. Then,
  Neil Armstrong retired from NASA in1971. Lastly,
  he retired from N.A.S.A.IN 1971.

Challenges

• One of the challenges that Neil had was when he
  was in N.A.S.A. He served on the government
  panel investigating the challenger disaster,
  which killed seven astronauts in 1986. Another
  challenge Neil had was when Karen, his daughter,
  died at age 3.
