    their personal lives. A pre school teacher
    educates, instructs and takes care of children of
    3 to 5 years. They introduce children to basics
    of education.

Qualification
  • High school diploma
  • National Child Development Associate credential
  • Bachelors degree in early childhood education
  • Early childhood education programs include a
    practical student teaching component, as well as
    courses in speech and language development, child
    and family studies, lesson planning, educational
    psychology, special education

Qualities
  • Communication skills. Teachers should have a good
    communication skills to convey information to
    parents about their child.
  • Creativity. They should plan their lessons to
    suit different learning styles that engage young
    students.
  • Instructional skills. need to be organized and
    able to explain difficult concepts so that young
    children can understand.
  • Patience. They should be able to respond calmly
    to young children.
  • People skills. They must understand childrens
    emotional needs and be able to develop good
    relationships with parents, children, and
    colleagues.

  • They make children learn through play and

  • Develop schedules and routines to have enough
    physical activity, rest, and playtime for
    children

Work schedule
  • Generally preschool teachers work from 9 a.m. to
    3 p.m.
  • Many work for 10 month school year which includes
    2 months break in summer
  • Some work for summer programs for 2 months
  • A daycare teacher works whole year

    grow by 19 from 2008 to 2018, which is faster
    than the average for all occupations
  • This growth will be moderated by slower growth in
