James Kauff is a Florida Licensed Clinical Social
Worker who is married to Ruth Kauff. She plays an
important role in his life as she helps him in
both his personal and professional endeavors. She
is an educated professional and a multi-talented
person who is bi-lingual speaking Spanish as well
as English and has a nursing degree. Her nursing
specialty is working with geriatric clients. Her
many skills include years of working as an
electrician. Her husband, James has been in the
mental health care field for over three decades.
He is also a member of the National Association
of Social Workers. In 1987, he completed his
Masters degree in the field of social work from
Adelphi University School of Social Work which is
located in Garden City, New York. In addition to
this, he also holds a Psychology and
Communication Arts degree.

James Kauff works for North Star Centre and his
experience includes counseling families, couples
and individuals. He provides psychotherapy to
people who suffer from numerous types of
psychological disorders including depression,
anxiety, stress and more. His particular
interests include working with geriatric clients
and children of single parent families. Besides
this, he also treats people who experience from
eating disorders, schizophrenia, substance abuse
and addictions. James also has volunteered his
time working for the American Cancer Society. It
is a non-profit organization that helps children
in reaching their potential with the help of
one-to-one relationships with mentors and
professional support. He not only serves ACS but
also works with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of
America which is ranked as one of the oldest and
largest youth mentoring organizations in the
United States.

This organization mentors children of all age
groups in communities across the country. Besides
this, James Kauff enjoys most sports especially
Basketball, Baseball and Tennis. James Kauff also
has experience in the area of sports reporting
for a major cable outlet. James Kauff is a
motivated, educated, enthusiastic and articulate
person and knows how to deal with people
effectively. He has good inter-personal skills
and has a good client rapport. He has brilliant
communication skills that helped him in his 17
years of consistent employment at the North Star
Centre located in Boca Raton, FL. He shows
effective and responsible leadership qualities in
the specific areas of individual, family group
therapies and rehabilitation therapy. He offers
training to elderly clients in social skills and
activities of daily living.

recreational and socialization programs for
rehabilitation and currently, he provides
individual family and group therapy.
