• The biggest and the best Oxford Street is one
  of the Sydney best night outs. The Central
  Business District is a relaxing and pleasant area
  lined with bars, shops and restaurants, but these
  small bars and the VIP night clubs come alive in
  full force. The Oxford Street stretches for
  kilometers across Sydney from Hyde Park to Bondi
  junction. It has become as a nightlife legend
  because of its convenience and sheer size in
  addition to its LGBT friendly atmosphere. There

  the evening. Ramping up in popularity in Sydney

The oxford Street closes down its traffic each
year in the month of March to host one of the
worlds biggest Mardi Gras Parades in the honor
of the gay and lesbian community in Australia and
across the world. For a month prior, Sydney Mardi
Gras promotes the city for the LGBT community
such as Sydney Mardi Gras Film Festival, the
events culminating being the outlandishly
entertaining parade. The main LGBT region of the
Oxford Street is around the suburb of
Darlinghurst on the western edge of the strip for
the rest of the year. Some safety measures need
to be taken on a busy night as the crime rates
are higher in the area of Oxford Street as with
major strip of nightclubs and establishments for
