  • During the Medieval times in Europe
    everything revolved around Christianity. This is
    because the local churches were what shaped the
    area and also some on politics. But since it had
    an impact on politics as well monks ended up
    having another system called religious order. All
    of this led to the creation of natural law and
    universities being built o see if religious faith
    and intellectual reason had some sort of
    connection.

  • This document listing rights that the king could
    not ignore was called the Magna Carta. It is a
    Latin phrase meaning Great Charter. The
    document was written by a group of nobles in 1215.

    without reason, the king had to obey the law, and
    the person had to have a jury trial.
  • This being created was an important step towards
    democracy.
