Title: the dynamics of newton's laws

1
The dynamics of Newton's laws
  • By Carl Stamper

2
The five forces
  • gravitational
  • Electric
  • Magnetic
  • Nuclear
  • Weak interaction

3
gravitational
  • One example is a tennis ball and a base ball when
you drop them at the same time they will hit at
    the same time.

4
Electric
  • One example is when you punch a punching bag with
your hand. So then your hand hit the punching bag
it will go forward with your hand.

5
Magnetic
  • magnetic and electric forces are very similar so
an example is the road and a tire on a car.

6
The three forces we can see
  • the three we can see is gravitational, electric,
    and magnetic.
  • The two that we cant see are nuclear and weak
interaction. the reason we cant see them is
because they are in the nucleus of an atom.

7
Newton's three laws of motion
8
the first of the three laws
  • The first is an object at rest stays at rest and
an object in motion stays in motion unless acted
by an external forces.so an example of that is a
    person bouncing a ball.

9
The seconded of the three laws
  • It is when the acceleration of an object is
produced by the total applied force is directly
related to the magnitude of the force.so an
example is a base ball and a truck.

10
The third of the three laws
  • It says that for every action there has to be a
equal or opposite reaction. An example of this is
a cannon and the cannon ball when fired from it.

11
The formulas of motion
12
The types of formulas of motion
  • Fm/a
  • Mf/a
  • Af/m
  • Wmxg
  • Mwxg
  • Gwxm

13
Fm/a
  • One example is a cars speed on a road as it
speeds up the speed monitor uses this to tell you
how fast you are going also to tell you how many
    miles you are.

14
Mf/a
  • One example is a scale for a car so that it can
see how many miles it can withstand when driving.

15
Af/m
  • One example is a tractor so it can tell you tell
you how fast you are going and so you can have
    some traction on your way.

16
Wmxg
  • One example is on a comet to see how big it is.

17
Mwxg
  • One example is the mass of you on the moon and
    the mass on the earth.

18
Gw/m
  • One example is a gallon of water.
