Magnetic Force
  • The force exerted between magnetic poles,
    producing magnetization.
  • Magnetic forces are produced by moving electric
    charges.

Electronic Force
  • The force that appears when you push on
    something with your hands is an electronic force.

Gravitational Force
  • An extremely weak force in comparison to other
    forces
  • The force that pulls objects to the center of
    the earth

Weak interaction and nuclear force
  • weak interaction is one of the 4 fundamental
    forces

Newton's first law
  • An object at rest stays at rest, an object in
    motion stays in motion. Until a force in acted
    upon it.
  • Ex When your driving and you make a sharp turn,
    your body leans to the side because it wants to
    keep going straight.

Newton's second law of motion
  • The second law says that the acceleration of an
    object, produced by a net applied force, the same
    direction is directly related to the magnitude of
    the force, the same direction as a force, an
    inversely related to the mass of an object.
  • Ex If you push on it, it pushes on you.

Newton's third law of motion
  • The third law says that for every action (force)
    there is an equal and opposite reaction.
  • Ex Shooting a cannonball. When the force
    pushing the cannonball is fired through the air,
    it is pushed backward. The force pushing the ball
    out was equal to the force pushing the cannon
    back, but the effect on the cannon is less
    noticeable because it has much larger mass.

  • Example If a car has a mass of 700kg and a
    driver pushes the car with an acceleration of 20
    mph then 70020 1400.
