  • What is attitude?
  • It is the state of mind in which you view any
    particular person, an idea, an object, a
    situation or an event.
  • It is the beliefs and feelings you have which
    cause you to respond in a certain way, to a given
    stimulus.
  • Attitude not aptitude (natural talents) will
    determine your altitude (height) of your success.

(a) Positive or optimistic attitude
student produces excellent results and is always
enthusiastic and motivated in whatever the
student does. Tasks are successfully and easily
done with enjoyment and satisfaction. An
optimistic student is the winner. (b)
Indifferent attitude student produces average
results and not be bothered. Tasks seem to be
boring, mundane or uninteresting. There is no
sense of pride and just follow others. (c)
Negative or pessimistic student looks at things
negative, difficult and impossible. Studying is
a torture, irrelevant and meaningless. This is a
loser.

  • This is to enable a person to grow up, to
    widen knowledge and to improve skills
  • When there is change, certain things may seem
    difficult or impossible to do
  • It is normal to feel discouraged, angry,
    worried, depressed or even frustrated
  • A lot of stress can be experienced
  • Coping of changes will be necessary to
  • Have a vision (A BIG PICTURE of what a person
    wants to achieve)

    shorts, revealing dresses and slippers
  • Dress within the College dress code but need
    not wear any uniform
  • Classes / lectures / tutorials / practicals are
    from Monday to Friday, there is no fixed hours
    but need to attend classes as your time-table is
    more flexible
  • The library is always for your use and there
    are study rooms for students to do private
    studies and own reference work or extra readings
  • There is no more fixed subjects to follow in
    College but need only to follow your
    specialisation and elective subjects

    major subjects and electives within further
    interest in the academic subjects
  • Do not be shy to discuss and ASK questions in
    group activities
  • Learn to collect learning resources quickly and
    wisely
