• In 1870 Louis Zistel opened a small beer garden,
  bathhouse, and dance floor

• The Switchback
  Railway was the
  first roller coaster ever
  built at Cedar
  Point.
  It was 25 feet tall and reached a speed of 10
  mph.
• From that point on, Cedar Point continued to
  expand with the additions of many gardens, a
  boardwalk, a lagoon, and several hotels.

The Magnum XL-200

• The Magnum XL-200 was voted No. 3 in the The
  Best Steel Roller Coaster in the World poll by
  Amusement Today

The Millennium Force

• The Millennium Force reaches a speed of 92 miles
  per hour.
• It was voted the 2nd best steel roller coaster in
  the poll by Amusement Today.
• Around 12 million people have ridden the coaster
  since it opened in 2000.

The Top Thrill Dragster

• In 2003, the Top Thrill Dragster was built,
  becoming the tallest and fastest roller coaster
  on earth.
• It is 420 feet high and reaches 120 mile per hour
  in 4 seconds.
