Singapore Central Texas Hear Betty Princeon
Embedded RAM Memories
The National University of Singapore student
branch vice president presented a token of
appreciation to Dr. Prince, who drew a standing
room only crowd in Austin.
Denver Taipei Host Razavi
Prof. Behzad Razavi addressed more than 150 at
National Tsing Hua University in Hsinchu, Taiwan
on Heterodyne Phase Locking, and spoke on 60GHz
RF CMOS transceivers in Fort Collins.

Seoul Taipei Replay ISSCC 2006 Short Course DVD
Sixty advanced level students in Taipei gathered
to hear Analog-to-Digital Converters by
Professor Hae-Seung Lee of MIT.
The DVD replay was transformed into an
audience-friendly, interactive, learning
experience, with stop-play for QA and summary

- The SSCS Far East DL Tour in Shanghai was
very successful. When we announced this activity,
we received more than 100 return receipts asking
to attend the workshop. On the afternoon of
November 16th, 180 crowded the room. - Ting-Ao Tang, SSCS/Shanghai Chair
- The second SSCS DL Tour is scheduled for the
Fall, in Europe. -

co-sponsoring, student registration support, etc. - Chapter has to submit a short proposal to the

19Emerging EconomiesMembership Subsidy Program
Each year, SSCS supports up to twelve members in
single chapters, up to six in joint chapters, and
underwrites students at 100 for up to two
consecutive years. Total for 2007 membership year
