• Terri Bauer has been the director of the CSI
  program at Collin County, Texas for 14 years.
  The goal of this program is to eliminate the
  victims of juvenile sexual offenses. They work
  with youth sex offenders to help them eliminate
  counterproductive sexual behaviors. This is a
  comprehensive in-depth program that involves both
  inpatient and outpatient treatment of the youth
  in a post-adjudication facility. Their parents
  are also required to attend treatment sessions
  where they are taught more effective methods for
  supervising their children. The juveniles stay in
  this facility for up to a year, however, good
  behavior can earn them an early release. Some of
  the skills that they are taught include social
  skills, healthy sexual relationships, coping, and
  relapse prevention.

• Terri is a licensed social worker and sex
  offender treatment provider. She has been working
  with children with sexual behavior problems for
  over 15 years, and she believes that these
  children can be helped. While it is not an easy
  procedure, with time and effort it can be done.
  The staff of the facility always try to ensure
  that the youth are being honest and true to
  themselves. Therefore, they are required to
  undergo an initial and maintenance polygraph. At
  any point during the treatment if the youth
  doesnt respond properly, or starts acting out,
  then he is released from the facility. Similarly,
  if the supervising adult is unwilling to
  cooperate, then they will be taken to court.

• Terri Bauer has a special penchant for working
  with children and youth. She has provided
  assistance to not only juveniles who have sexual
  behavior problems, but also to those have been
  sexually abused. She conducts trainings with
  sexually abused, sexually reactive, and sexually
  offending youth. In her free time, Terri enjoys
  playing golf and spending time with her near and
  dear ones. She donates to United Way and a
  variety of other childrens organizations.
