Ah! Im so nervous for my poetry pageant today!
Oh Honey, Im Sure you will do fine! Hasnt your
class been practicing for weeks?

Yes, We have, A few weeks ago we each found the
poems we wanted to recite, and memorized them so
we can perform for our parents! I just hope I
dont forget my lines.

We should probably get you off to school or you
will miss the whole pageant!
I hope so, I am still nervous though!
You know you wont! You have that poem memorized
backwards and forwards.
Have fun and dont worry we are sure you will do
great!
Thanks! Ill see you guys at 100 when the show

Pageant. First up is Brittany Gebka reciting Oh

Oh Homework, Oh Homework, I hate you, you stink.
I wish I could wash you away in the sink. If only
a bomb would explode you to bits, homework, oh
homework youre giving me fits!

Id rather take baths with a man eating shark, or
wrestle a lion alone in the dark. Eat spinach and
liver, pet ten porcupines, then tackle my
homework my teacher assigns.

And now for the finale the students would like to
sing America the Beautiful
O beautiful for spacious skies, For amber waves
of grain, For purple mountain majesties Above
the fruited plain! America! America!

Oh no! What happened!

It looks like she just fainted, she must have
been very hot in that room!

Im sorry for scaring everyone yesterday! I just
got very hot and fainted, but I am okay now. I
was so excited for the pageant and maybe it
didnt go exactly how I wanted it too, but I will
always have a funny memory now!
