  • State test objectives in behavioral terms.
  • Make sure that test items cover all 6 cognitive
    levels outlined in Blooms taxonomy.

  • Create items for test after each unit taught
  • (not the day before the test)
  • Create a test blueprint

Test Blueprint
  • A table that lists important objectives to be
    taught
  • The percentage or number of items that cover a
    topic
  • Can be used to decide the number of items that
    should be written for each objective
