GENESIS

• Rural womens suffering is three fold caste
  based discrimination, gender based discrimination
  and utter poverty
• Adv. Ekanath Awad created awareness in Marathwada
  region of Maharashtra through Rural Development
  Centre (RDC).
• Womens from different villages of Bid district
  of Maharashtra asserted their participation and
  formed group Savitribai Phule Mahila Mandal to
  bring gender issue at core.
• Savitribai Phule Mahila Mandal (SPMM), started
  its full function since 1988-89.
