3A a Stand up and take five deep breaths. Fill
your lungs with air and close your eyes as the
oxygen travels to your brain.
4B bSay the alphabet in an angry voice.
5C cWalk around the literacy area like a robot.
Be careful not to bump into any other robots.
6 D d Place arms straight in front of you and
turn palms slowly so they face up and then down.
7E e Select and play a track. Can you dance and
sing along?
8F fWrite the letters of the alphabet in the air
using a magic pencil.
9G gLift your right knee up and touch it with
your left hand. Now lift your left knee up and
touch it with your right hand.
10H hMake numbers with your body make your way
from 0 to 10.
11I iTake your shoes off and put them back on
again!
12J jTrace circles in the air with two hands held
together. Follow your movements with your eyes
only. Keep your head still and your lips and
teeth together.
13K kPractise placing your feet flat on the floor,
now gently rock onto your heels, now back onto
your toes.
14L lMake your body as wide as possible by
stretching your arms and legs as far as they can
go.
15MmPractise Yawning! Stretch your mouth as wide
as you can. Stick your chin out and move it from
side to side.
16N nPractise rolling your head in circles slowly
one-way, then slowly the other way.
17O oWrite your name in the air write it big,
small, fast, slow.
18P p Practise rolling your eyes in circles
slowly one-way, then slowly the other way.
19Q qMake a steeple with your fingers in front of
your face, now lift each pair of fingers
together.
20R rWith your thumb and forefinger pinched
together, extend your hands out in front of your
face and trace large circles in the same
direction.
21SsPat your head with one hand and rub your
stomach with the other.
22T tPut your hands together and clap. Now move
your hands in a circle as you clap.
23U uStand up tall and in a space. Bend gently
from the waist and stretch your fingers towards
your toes.
24V vHold your ears and slowly roll your ear lobes
between your finger and thumb.
25W wTrace the alphabet in the air with your hands
held together.
26X xWith your right thumb and forefinger pinch
your nose and with your left thumb and forefinger
hold onto your right ear. Now swap and swap
again.
27Y y
Stand on one leg for five seconds then swap and
stand on the other.
28Z zCurl up in a ball on the floor. Slowly unwind
until you are tall and narrow.
29 Sing I can sing a rainbow.
30Trace the number 8 in the air with your hands
held together.
