Was ist DSS?

• Das DSS Format wurde hauptsächlich für digitales
  Diktieren/Transkibieren entwickelt.
• Es hat folgende Vorteile
• Lange Aufnahmen mit kleinen Dateien, da DSS die
  Daten hoch komprimiert.
• Kann zusätzliche Informationen zugeordnet zu
  Diktaten im Datei Header beinhalten.
• Für einfaches Überschreiben und punktgenaues
  Editieren werden die Daten in kleinen Blöcken

Voice Command - ID assignment

• What is the Problem?
• I need to link a patient ID - for example a
  social to my voice reports, to clearly capture
  which report belongs to which patient. Doctor,

• Philips DPM 9450 with Voice command is a simple
  way to assign patient IDs to the voice report by
  simply speaking them out.
• How does it work?
• The speaker dependent voice recognition will
  identify the digits spoken and automatically
  assign them to the Keyword defined. As in DPM
  9400i the Keyword input can be set as a mandatory
  one.

  allows the workflow to be efficient smooth.

  20 different work types to any voice report. It

• What is the Problem?
• I do not want to carry an extra power supply for
  recharging my device when travelling! Lawyer,

• The solution
• Philips DPM 9450 not only runs on the USB power
  supplied but also charges up the batteries
  LFH9144 when connected to a PC or Notebook.
•  
• How does it work?
• A charging current of 30mA is being delivered
  from the USB socket through a standard mini USB
  cable and fed to the DPM 9450 to recharge the
  LFH9144 batteries.
• This works in any case, if the DPM is switched
  on or off. It will take approximately 20hrs to
  recharge empty batteries. Note USB charging is
  disabled when power supply LFH 9145 is connected
  directly or through the docking station.

  knew when to start with my dictation - todays

• Time required for installation configuration
  can be reduced by installing with the Silent
  Installer. For details read the following

• Creating configuring the Silent Installer setup
• Step1.
• Copy the content of the DPM Download/Configuration
  Software CD to a shared network folder you have
  access to from every workstation where you want
  to install the DPM Software.
• Step2.
• Define a command line to be used on multiple
  workstations to install the DPM2 software. For
  example copy below text into the Notepad
  application coming with MS-Windows

  Download/Configuration application will be
  English.

• Store this command line parameters in the network

• From each PC you wish to perform the installation

  Export Configuration File in the DPM DL/CF
  Software. Save the configuration file as .INI in
  the network folder defined in Step 1.
• DPM Device Hardware Rollout (works with LFH9220,
  9250, 9350, 9400, 9450, 9750)
• On each PC workstation running DPM
  Download/Configuration Software (Step 3) connect
  a DPM device after the Software has been
  installed and let Windows install the DPM
  drivers. Import the Configuration file .INI
  defined before (by selecting File Import
  Configuration File) and transfer the settings to
  the DPM device by selecting the Menu Settings
  Transfer Settings to DPM.
•    Configure all workstations and all DPM
  devices as described.
•    Be sure that Load device settings
  automatically is deactivated on all DPM devices.
  Adjust user dependent settings like Email Options
  on every workstation.
• For the advanced user A truly silent install
  would be no interface only the batch window. The
  MSI should be launched with either /qb (quiet
  with limited user screens) or /qn (no interface
  at all) In The case of /qn, the batch file would
  be required to react to the returned error code
  of the msiexec.exe installation.
