Stay Safe physical environment
  • Children are always

  • There is an internet safety policy in place
  • Children are taught how to protect themselves
    online.
  • Children feel able to talk to an adult about
    cyber bullying and other forms of electronic

Data protection issues
  • Official guidelines are adhered to with regard to
    children not being identifiable from photographs
    on the internet.
  • Children are taught about data protection in ways
    that are relevant to them personally.

  • The computer rooms have (quiet) air conditioning
    installed.
  • There is plenty of space at the computers for
    children to work on paper and discuss the work
    with other children.

    activities which promote challenge, allow
    achievement and which are fun.

  • The children know what Level they are working at
  • The children are challenged in ICT lessons, not

Make a Positive Contribution
  • All children can contribute to lessons through
    the use of interactive whiteboards or graphics
    tablets for whole-class presentation.
  • The school adopts new collaborative tools like
    blogging, wikis and podcasts, which can enable
    young people to make a positive contribution.

    with learning difficulties to make a positive
    contribution.
  • Children are taught how to conduct themselves in
    forum discussions.
