HSI Member of HACU is a dues-paid, non-profit,
accredited college, university or system, where
total Hispanic enrollment constitutes a minimum
of 25 percent of the total enrollment, including
full-time and part-time students whether at the
undergraduate or graduate level or both. HSIs
that are members of HACU are voting members of
the Association. HSI members vote at the Annual
Business meeting during the Annual Conference.
HSIs have representation on HACUs Governing
Board.

29ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP An Associate Member of HACU
is a dues-paid, non-profit, accredited college,
university or system, where total Hispanic

total enrollment, or a minimum of 1,000 Hispanic
students enrolled, including full-time and
part-time students whether at the undergraduate
or graduate level or both. Associate members
elect regional representatives who can vote at
the Annual Business meetings of the voting (HSI)
membership. AMIs have Bi-Annual Meetings during
the Annual Conference. AMIs also have
representation on HACUs Governing Board.
