EXPANDABLE HARDENED BATONS and ACCESSORIES
This range of hardened Expandable Batons (type
ExB 26H, type ExB 21H, type ExB 18H, type
ExB 16H) 26, 21, 18 and 16 versions, have
the quality certified rubber grip and come
complete with a baton holder included in the
price. The expandable tubes, which are made from
superior material, are additionally hardened by
heat treatment. They are therefore highly
resistant to a flexion if the baton is exposed to
a hard stroke.

All expandable batons are supplied with plastic
holder BH-02. This holder enables Very quick
drawing of the baton w i th one hand, due to
automatic opening of the holder after
unfasteningof nylon strap. The possibility of
modification of the size of the aperture for the
belt by cutting the dividers and thereforemoving
the inclination of the holder forward or backward
as needed. With the nylon strap unfastened, the
holder enables a fully expanded baton to be held

What is Asp Batons?
At 911gear.ca we only sell ASP batons. There are
other baton manufacturers out there. ASP batons
are used overwhelmingly by Law Enforcement
Agencies worldwide including the military. They
are a high quality baton that overtime has proven
its value to law Enforcement as an intermediate
weapon. We will discuss the position of the baton
later in the force continuum. The batons come in
16", 21", 26" and 30" inch models. Each agency
chooses the length of the batons they use on
duty. ASP also makes a variety of batons holders
to allow you t carry the batons on your belt.
They are made of a high quality durable plastic
and rotate. They allow you to draw your baton
quickly as well as holster it quickly. We sell
ASP baton holders as well as our own baton
holders for batons measuring 16", 21" and 26". We
carry two types of ASP holder the ASP swivel

The Use of Force Continuum. 
Use of Force Continuum first showed up in the
1980's. It is a kind of guideline on the
escalation of force on a subject resisting. The
Use of Force Continuum can be different in
different Agencies and different in jobs. For
example the last resort in the force continuum is
lethal force with a firearm whereas the last
resort for an Officer who doesnt carry a firearm
could be something different.   The options of
force in the force continuum escalate with the
type of resistance the resisting subject
exhibits. Each agency will have different wording
and perhaps a from the officers point the stages
in the use of force continuum are  Level
One Officer Presence - Physical appearance Level
Two Verbal commands - Clear and deliberate Level
Three Soft techniques - OC spray, comes alongs
and wrist locks Level Four Strikes and take
downs. Level Five Firearms and strikes to vital
areas.

into the palm of the hand and exclusive to ESP.

The SH-21 is the revolutionary and patented
holder for the 21expandable batons in the ESP
range. The ''SuperHolder is a 360 degree, 16
position locking holder that ensures a fully
extended or retracted baton cannot beremoved
without unlocking the holder. This gives the best
security against the loss of a baton. The belt
clip isfully adjustable to fit most widths of
belt and can be attached without removing the
belt.

Accessories and Attachments

• It is possible to supply a special large end cap,
  the Supplementary End Cap can be attached to
• the handle of any of the expandable batons. This
  Supplementary End Cap will greatly increase
• the surety of the grip on the baton, particularly
  under force. This end cap has a specially
• pronounced solid curvature on the end which
  allows for dealing with any adversary with the
• handle end of the baton. This is advantageous in
  situations where the confined space makes it
• impossible to fully open the baton and use it.
  The Supplementary End Cap is supplied separately
• or upon request wi th a complete baton.

Lanyard Hand Strap

• Another optional feature is the Lanyard Hand
  Strap, which can be fitted to all the expandable
  batons. The strap
• can be easily inserted under the screw end cap.
  The baton can be therefore used with or without
  the strap as
• required, and can also be used in conjunction
  with the Supplementary End Cap.

Tactical mirrors of two sizes
Expandable batons can be fitted with tactical
mirrors of two sizes, type M2 - 71mm and the M3 -
92mm. These mirrors will enable the user to
determine the presence of an object or person
around a comer. The mirror is equipped with a
clip for easy fitting on the baton. The nylon
pouch protects the mirror against damage
and enables the carrying of the mirror on a
belt. The BC-1 metallic clip for expandable
baton, has been designed to provide a secure
holder for concealed baton carriage. Easily
clipped onto a belt, pocket, jacket or other
apparel.

Flashlight Attachments
If a flashlight is required, ESP have developed
their own two options for attaching to the baton.
It is possible to equip the expandable baton with
either the BL-01 or BL-02 flashlights. The
flashlight can be used also independently as
a pocket light. High luminosity is ensured by 3
LED diodes. Duration of luminance is up to 250
hours. Waterproof duralumin body. Service life of
LED diodes is 100,000 hours. Power is supplied
from 6 X CR 2032 lithium batteries. Length of the
individual flashlight with the cap is 79 mm and
when fitted to the baton, the baton's length is
only extended by 40 mm and increases its weight
by only 92g.

Flashlight Attachments
The BL-02 flashlight can also be used
independently as a pocket light. High luminosity
is ensured by 3 LED diodes. Duration of power is
up to 80 hours. Waterproof duralumin body.
Service life of LED diodes is 100,000 hours.
Power supply is from 2 X lithium batteries - type
CR 2032. Length with the cap attached is 67 mm
and when fitted to the baton it extends the
baton's length by only 28 mm and increases its
weight by only 80g.

Police Tonfas (side handled batons)
The Tonfa types TF - 24/59 and TR - 24/59 were
developed in co-operation with the police experts
from the Czech Republic and Poland and it is
designed especially for the professional use in
police units and security agencies. The Tonfa
models are made from high impact resistant
polypropylene and have many improved features
over traditional tonfas. Type TR-24/59 is the
classic round Tonfa, type TF -24/59 has a special
flat surface that helps protect the hand against
a strike and at self-defence it spreads hitting
power on to a larger area. Also available is the
expandable Tonfa, the ExT-24/61, providing a more
versatile option. The Tonfa batons can be
supplied with different types of holders TF-01 or
TR-02.

Training Equipment's
TRAINING BATON -Training batons are made in two
lengths TB-21 and TB-26. They are highly wear
resistant and their dimensions and weights
correspond to telescopic batons of the length 21
and 26". We also offer a training baton with the
dimensions of a baseball bat (length 73
cm). TRAINING TONFA - We can supply the training
tonfa TT-24 for training work, together with
police tonfas. The dimensions correspond to the
TR-24/59. TRAINING SHOCK ABSORBING SHIELD - The
shields have been determined for both baton and
tonfa training use. They absorb even very strong
hits. The covering cloth is made of highly damage
resistant material. The shields can withstand not
only hits of training batons or training tonfas,
but also hits of hardened steel batons, police
tonfas or classical batons. Width 610 mm, height
950 mm, depth 100 mm, weight is 4.7kg
