  MS Word, Corel WordPerfect, etc. to edit your
  HTML code. They often leave additional tags and
  internal codes in your web pages which can double
  or triple its size
• . Hand coding with a program like Microsofts
  Notepad. Time consuming, but you get superior
  page control
• . HTML Editors provide additional tools and can
  employ WYSIWYG editing and development features
• . Conversion utilities allow you to create the
  code with one program and then save it in an HTML
  format. Remember 1 above!

  can result from carelessly used or poorly planned
  and tested multimedia usage

• All animation applications contain tools to
  create visually interesting motion graphics,
  rollovers, drawing tools, and some form of a
  visual timeline to manage the movement of
  objects through time
• Adobe LiveMotion and Macromedia Flash are
  capable of creating and controlling vector
  graphics for making Flash files (.fla, .liv, or
  .swf) while providing great control over file
  sizes to minimize download times

• Adobe Premier and Ulead are two of the best

• With these, you can easily create, edit, and
  combine or transition one video or audio clip to

  export it in all the common formats (QuickTime,
  Real, MPEG MP3)
