- To inform volunteers of Salt Lake Citys plan to
engage volunteers and volunteer organizations in
the service of providing relief and assistance to
Salt Lake City residents in times of disaster and
emergency.

may be needed by Salt Lake City residents
- Communications
- Water/water purification
- Food/food preparation
- Shelter
- First aid
- Portable toilets/sanitation kits
- Psychological support
- Showers
- Debris removal and clearance
- Search and rescue
- Management of donated goods
- Recovery/rebuild assistance
- Animal Services
4Possible Volunteers
- Solicited/Trained
- This kind of volunteer will come primarily
from volunteer organizations.
- Unsolicited/Untrained
- This kind of volunteer will show-up at a
disaster site or will call the Salt Lake City
Emergency Operations Center to offer help,
without any previous training or tie to a
volunteer organization. - .

- Control the flow of goods and services to
disaster area. - Pre-designated area for trains, trucks other
