traveled to the Sun Yat-sen Medical University in
Guangzhou, China to conduct due diligence on a
non invasive device for the treatment of heart
disease that subsequently received United States
Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval and
was launched worldwide and described as a major
medical breakthrough in heart disease. Known as
the Enhanced External Counter Pulsation (EECP)
treatment for coronary artery disease it is used
worldwide in over 1,000 centers including at the
Mayo Clinic, the Cleveland Clinic, Beth Israel
Medical Center, Johns Hopkins, the Ochsner
Foundation Hospital, The Miami Heart Institute,
Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine and the
Texas Heart Institute.
