agency based out of Austin, Texas, is a highly
recognized organization for its exceptional
services in helping children find permanent
homes. The agency was first established in 1996
as China established The China Center for
Childrens Welfare and Adoption (CCCWA) to
facilitate the adoption of orphaned and abandoned
children in the country. The organization is
headquartered in Austin, along with an office in
Beijing, and organizes various international
programs in countries like Bulgaria, The DRC, The
Dominican Republic, Poland, Ghana, Latvia, and

improving the lives of children all over the
world and thus, helping to improve indigenous and
rural communities.

(CAN). CAN is one of the leading adoption

the lives of children by placing them with
eligible families from all over the world. CAN,
in association with GWCA, places children,
advocates for improved legislation and
international relations, and initiates charity
programs focused on child welfare.

The adoption agency along with its sister
division CAN, is dedicated to helping the
adoption of Waiting Children with special
needs. The organization believes that waiting
children are vulnerable and need love and care.
They have placed more than 700 waiting children
so far, and look forward to placing many more.
Due to their special contribution towards the
placement of waiting children, GWCA was invited
by the Chinese government to host and sponsor a
Hope Trip camp for children with special needs. A
team of doctors, therapists, and social workers
attended the camp to evaluate the children. As
