How I Met My Best Friend

At the party

• I was only 11, it was the summer before I entered
  middle school and everyone was looking forward to
  Danas birthday party

Fun in the Sun

• The whole day was filled with fun! Everyone was
  there! We danced, ate, laughed, and spent the
  whole day on the lake and that was when she
  showed up. A shy red headed girl who no one
  knew..

Amber

• She had just moved from Kentucky and her mom knew
  Danas mom. But she was a stranger to everyone
  else.

Fitting in

• Although she was new to everyone. She had grown
  up on the lake and showed everyone how to have a
  good time with great water games! I especially
  loved the company she brought to the birthday
  party! Amber soon enough fit in perfect!

Oh no!

• However, with all the excitement and energy, I
  had a terrible asthma attack!! My inhaler was
  all the way back at Danas house. Who would help
  me get my inhaler in time to save me?!?!

To the Rescue

• Fortunately, Amber was not only the life of the
  party but also a caring and wonderful new friend.
  She walked with me all the way to the house and
  comforted me with my troubled breathing!

When will I see you again?

• She showed me that day true friendship that I
  would never forget and havent. We became great
  friends that day, although we did not see much
  more of each other that summer. I wondered if I
  would ever see her again

United at last

• When 6th grade finally approached I found a
  familiar face in my homeroom class! Amber!
  There she was and from then on we have shared
  several more classes in all our continuing years
  in school. We lived close and our friendship
  continued to grow closer!

Updates

• Amber is still my very best
  friend!! We have been this way for a
• wonderful 9 years! She has always been there for
  me just like she was that day 9 years ago. In
  conclusion, she will always remain my best friend
  for 9 plus more years!!
