• The World, Shine, spaceship, and the farm are
  all settings because theyre all places. The time
  is 4 years and its also in the future .

Summary

• In The Green Book Pattie and her family were
  moving to another planet on a spaceship. Later
  Pattie and Jason found Boulder Valley. Next the
  bunnies died. After that Pattie and her dad had a
  fight over the green book. When Pattie went to
  sleep her dad read Father said we could take
  very little with us. The green book Pattie
  brought with her was the book I just read! How
  exciting!

Characters changed

• The characters changed because when they met
  the moth people the humans were mean. Later the
  humans were nice. In the end everyone was happy.

Settings changed

• The settings changed because time passed. They
  went from Earth, to the spaceship, to Planet
  Shine .

Relationships

• In the beginning, the characters stuck
  together with their own families. The characters
  relationships changed by helping when they
  discovered Boulder Valley. Everyone helped with
  the feeding and the planting. They acted like
  one big family.

Survival

• I think the big idea of this story is
  survival. Everyone thought they were going to
  die. The humans didnt die because the earth
  seeds did work and they were able to grow wheat.
  They used they used the wheat to make food like
  bread and pancakes.

Free choice

• Just like in The Green Book, I moved. I was
  excited! When I got to my new house, I instantly
  knew where everything went. I was afraid because
  of the new noises, though. I got used to the
  house, even though there are still some things I
  dont know about. I love the house just like it
  is. This is just like the experience the people
  had on Shine.
