- Range of benefit - some states receive only a 19
increase, some states receive as high as 46 - Transit funding increased by 46
- 5,700 special projects earmarked by the
authorizers

- This marks a successful graduation from TEA-21
where ITS was found primarily in Title V
(research). ITS is no longer a special niche
program, rather is part of the mainstream of
