Inaugural Year, 2002-3 APreliminary Evaluation
  • The high school college transition is more
    difficult than some students anticipated.
  • The program is more challenging than some
    students expected.
  • Clearer parameters need to be established for
    both students and site hosts in the job shadowing
    component.
  • Stronger communication must be practiced among
    all stakeholders --- students, parents, the
    college, the high schools, and the business
    community.
  • Students in the program need input (Advisory
    Council).
  • High schools need to place stronger emphasis on
    the ASSET CVCC needs to review its ASSET
    policies.
