17Middle School Participation
- If no program exists in the middle school, 7-8th
graders can compete on the high school teams. - If a program does exist, 7-8th graders can
compete on the varsity(if they make the varsity
team)
18Transfer ruleNew from the MSHSL
- Students in 9-12 grade, who disenrolls from one
high school and enrolls in another high school
shall be ineligible to compete in any varsity
sport for 1 calendar year
19Physical forms
- Doctor must use the High School League Form
- Physical must be updated every 3 years
- Must be on file at Jeffersonathletic secretary.
20Summer Waiver
- Coaches may coach the high school players from
the 4th Friday in May through July 31st.
21NCAA ELIGIBILITY
- 16 core class requirement for NCAA eligibility
class of 2008 - Please see your counselor for more information

packet.
22Chemical Harassment Hazing
- Committing an act, or coercing a student into
committing an act, that creates a risk of harm to
a person (physical, mental, intimidating)
Intended or unintended. - Harassment, hazing, chemical, drug abuse all
carry the same violation penalties. - Possession interpretationex. Same room with
alcohol-in possession of it

- 1st offense 2 weeks, 2 contest (longest)
- 2nd offense 3 weeks, 6 games
- 3rd offense 4 weeks, 12 games
- Student Code of Responsibilities bylaw206.2
- (penalty determined by High School Principal)
- Loss of Captainship for 1 calendar year
- Loss of leadership roles in school
- Contact ACs as soon as the violation occurs
- You must practice and finish the season for the
violation to be considered served.

athlete only

- Invitation to join
- Description of activities (fundraisers, banquet
set up, pasta dinners etc.) - Positive support to the team, coaches, school
- 15 registration fee per school yearbuilding
reservations. - Bulletin for booster club roles/each booster club
should have one.
