  • What is an A to Z Book?
  • Each letter represents a custom or tradition from
    your country.
  • The custom or tradition should be described using
    the DEEEW.
  • Each entry should be related to your family and
    the customs, culture, and traditions you observe.
  • Each entry should be informative and use
    pictures, Clip Art, photographs, or Internet
    images to enhance the meaning to the reader.

My Italian Heritage

On Christmas Eve, my familys dinner consists of
a meal of seven fishes. We have had squid,
clams, mussels, shrimp, lobster, oysters, and
swordfish. This is an Italian tradition that my
family brought to the United States when they
came here. Fishing is important because Italy
is surrounded by water.
