Aan Sinanta Is Passionate About Writing For

Aan Sinanta, a writer, was born and brought up in
Anchorage, Alaska. Growing up in this city of
lights and flowers shaped his personality. He
developed interest in art and literature from a
very tender age. He was so fond of reading that
by the age of 15, he had a large collection of
books. While studying in college, he studied
World History as his major and literature as
minor.

He devoted most of his time to reading and this
interest and love for books soon developed into
passion for writing. He started working as a
manager in a travel firm and continued with
writing. He wrote his first book when he was 25.
The response and appreciation that he received
for his first publication encouraged him to take
up writing as a full-time career.

Aan Sinanta married Catherine whom he met in
college. Catherine, being interested in reading
and writing, encouraged Aan to write more. She
became his back support and helped him come up
with some of the finest children's books. She not
only helped him with writings, but also supported
him in all walks of life. She co-authored one of
his books. The couple has two children, a 5 year
old son and a 3 year old daughter.

Catherine is a dedicated mother. She quit her
job to take care of children and help her husband
in his writing career. Aan loves his family and
always tries to spend some quality time with his
wife and children. He gets ideas for his stories
from his own children and writes stories that are
loved by children.

Along with writing, Aan Sinantais also interested
in many out-door activities. He loves to travel
and takes a vacation whenever he gets time. He is
fond of adventure sports such as snowboarding,
skiing, and snowmobiling. He appreciates nature
and likes to spend some time in the lap of
nature. He writes short stories and inspirational
books for children. Till now, he has 10 books to
his credit and this has made him a popular face
in his locality. He is often invited to local
events for book signing and motivating children
who love to listen to his inspirational talks.
The Interstate Schools Board awarded him with
Man of the Year Award.
