About NCCADV

• We are a statewide non-profit membership
  organization founded in 1981.
• Celebrating 30th Anniversary!
• Our purpose is to strengthen the network of
  people working to end domestic violence in North
  Carolina.
• We provide support services to local domestic
  violence programs and allied professionals across
  the state.

Mission

• To create social change through the elimination
  of the individual, institutional, and cultural
  oppressions that contribute to domestic violence.

NCCADV Public Policy Initiative

• Advocates to improve statewide policies and
  legislation to positively impact the lives of
  survivors of domestic violence and their
  children.
• Monitors federal legislation and works with NNEDV
  to support National Lobby Day each year.
• Contracts with a lobbyist.
