The earth Rotate (spins) on its axis once
every 24 hours.
The earth is tilted at 23.5 degree angle.

When the Northern end of the Earths axis is
tilted toward the sun, the most direct rays from
the sun fall there.
The Southern end of the Earths axis is tilted
away from sun, the lest direct rays from the sun
fall there.
The 23.5 degree tilt of the earth causes the
seasons.
