A group of 13 plant enthusiasts, Plants
Enthusiasts Anonymous or known as PEA for short,
embark on a journey to the jungles of world in
hopes of finding a new species of plant life.
Along the way they will encounter various species
of animals, each which present to them a
dangerous challenge to pass through. But not to
fear, they will be guided by a highly trained
group of professional jungle skippers that know
the ropes, as well as what the ropes are taught
to. As they board their plane to their first
destination, the Congo River in Africa, they
prepare themselves for a daring adventure they
soon will never forget.
3
Oh no! A plane crash! And it wasnt even the same
plane that was featured on the previous slide,
but somehow its the same exact plane! Oh, the
horrible continuity error! But through all of
this horrible news, good news emerges, and so
does everyone from the plane except for the
captain for some unknown reason, but thats not
really important and hes not even a major
character, so well leave him in the cockpit. The
skippers recognized the river they crashed nearby
which turned out to be the Nile River, which is
the longest river in the world. They follow along
side the river to see if they can find some help,
hopefully.
Boom.
4
Throughout their journey theyve seen several
groups of animals including zebras, wildebeests,
giraffes, and even a 71 impala. There were even
some lions babysitting a sleeping zebra. Not to
worry though, the zebra was just dead tired. 4 of
the PEA-heads and a skipper argued with another
skipper whether or not a 2.5 half ton rhino can
run as fast as a horse. Turns out, the skipper
was right and sooner or later those PEA-heads
will get the point, in the end. The remaining 9
PEA members continued their quest to find rare
and exotic plants, and also a way to get back
home.
5
Whats this theyve discovered? Its a pygmy war
camp with canoes! Nobodys around, so might as
well borrow the canoes and travel down the river
towards the first sight of civilization. The camp
also has a pot where they can mash various plants
and beetles together in a broth of jungle water
to create their famous green PEA soup. Somehow it
tastes like chicken.
6
This looks promising. The jeep is still running
and the tank is half full. The group flips the
jeep over and somehow they managed to find their
way to a small village with a sign that soon
caught their eye. Could this be what theyve been
looking for all this time?
7
World Famous for being . . . World Famous
Its the World Famous Jungle Cruise!
8
Here in the small village of Yensid Tlaw, they
met up with owner of the World Famous Jungle
cruise, Albert Awohl, as he shows us all the
mighty vessel that well all start our journey
on. They soon mentioned how small the boat was,
but not to worry, its just a life sized replica
of the original. They were going on the model
thats 5x larger.
Heres Albert on one of the larger scale models
now. The Leaki Tiki, although amusing as it
sounded, was the name of the vessel that was left
in the fleet and it seemed like its been through
trouble. Good news is, it is sea-worthy but the
bad news is, the group is only going to travel
down the Congo River, not the Congo Sea.
9
What is that emerging from the waters? Its a
rampaging group of hungry hungry hippos! Even
more bad news, the PEA-heads confiscated our
marbles because there was no need to have fun and
games in the jungle, and now theyre defenseless!
Good news is that the skippers were trained to
fire off blanks to scare off the hippos. Dont
worry though, they dont hit them or even aim at
them, the skippers call that a hippo-shot-a-miss.
10
Uh oh, theyve stumbled into the Brit-Nee Tribe,
and it looks like theyre about to attack with
Brit-Nee spears! Be careful though, these spears
are toxic! Thankfully the skippers knew how to
calm them down with music, and they all danced
and partied late into the night.
The skipper met with the tribe leader Ug, and the
Lee family he belongs to. Ug told them to find
Chief Namee and bring him back and the Chief will
handsomely reward the group with rare and exotic
plants. Ug showed the group a shortcut to find
Namee, and off they went.
11
The shortcut took them into the depths of
Southeast Asia on the Mekong River, where theyve
discovered a bathing pool of Indian elephants.
They were extremely friendly, and even offered to
shower us down whether they liked it or not.
12
These ruins have been through an earthquake and
appear to be very unstable, but yet this is the
only way through. The group passes through and
finds a dormant tiger and a bunch of cobras
guarding ancient treasure. The temple starts to
collapse so theres no time for treasure, so they
quickly try to find a way out before they become
history along with these old temple ruins.
The skipper points out that theyve discovered
the sacred shrine of the Goddess, Shirley, and
the temple in her honor.
13
They narrowly escape doom with the temples
collapse, and found Chief Namee! While he was
lost, he was selling shrunken heads to tribes
passing by so he could purchase an umbrella to
keep himself dry during rainy seasons and a fancy
hat. The chief greeted them all with a warm
welcome, and said not to worry about the temple,
and that he could get back to his tribe with a
spell he learned from a tribe that passed by.
14
The chief started chanting, a green cloud arouse
out of nowhere and just like the groups heads
have just been shrunken, and the chief arrived
back to his tribe with some new merchandise
thanks to the group. What a shame that they
werent able to make it back home alive, this
would have been one heck of a story to tell. But
as they say out in the Caribbean, Dead man tell
no tales.
