Creating AutoShapes
  • On the toolbar click AutoShapes, and choose the
    shape that you would like to draw.
  • Press the delete key to remove the drawing canvas
    from the screen.
  • Click, hold, and drag to create a new shape in
    the size that you want.
  • Right Mouse inside the shape and select Add
    Text to write on the shape.

  • 5. Type your text inside and format as you like.
    (Bold, Italics, Center etc)
  • Fill the shape with color using the Fill Color
    button on the toolbar. (paintcan)
  • Add a shadow by clicking on Shadow Style and
    choosing the style you like.
  • For more options select Shadow Settings from
    that menu.

  • Choose a style from the gallery.
  • Type the word Sunset using a 96pt.
  • Click Okay
  • Click on the word Sunset in the document

  • Change Page Setup to landscape.
  • Insert one text box from the draw toolbar. Right
    click on the text box and choose format text box
    from the menu bar. Change the line style and
    color.
  • Copy and paste the desired number of boxes for
    the comic strip.
  • Insert Clipart for each pane. From the picture
    toolbar, choose in front of text.
  • Add speech balloons from Toolbar?Autoshapes?Callou
    ts

  • Begin writing a story.
  • Click where you want to add a picture.
  • From the Insert Menu on the toolbar, choose
    Insert?Picture?Clipart.
  • Type the name of the picture you are looking for.
