• 20 who formerly were disobedient, when once the
  Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah,
  while the ark was being prepared, in which a few,
  that is, eight souls, were saved through water.
• 21 There is also an antitype which now saves
  usbaptism (not the removal of the filth of the
  flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward
  God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ(1

Things that Didnt Make Noah Great!

• Wasnt the numbers of people he converted
• . . . in which a few, that is, eight souls, were
  saved through water
• Wasnt the fact that he lived 950 years
• Methuselah lived 969 years and not much is
  recorded about him

Saved Like Noah?

• by grace through faith!
• But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD

  ark for the saving of his household, by which he

• when God specified one type of wood, that
  excluded all other wood-kinds
• ark was covered by pitch, . . . make rooms in
  the ark, and cover it inside and outside with

WE APPLY THE BLOOD IN BAPTISM

One Window One Gospel

• one Lord, one faith, one baptism (Eph. 45,

• I marvel that you are turning away so soon from

  are some who trouble you and want to pervert the

• Zero doors would have been sin
• Two doors would have been sin
• When God specifies one he means ONE!
• There is only one door into the NT ark too!

Jesus is the Door

• I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will
  be saved, and will go in and out and find

• We must enter through Christ to be saved!

GOD SHUT THE DOOR

• So those that entered, male and female of all
  flesh, went in as God had commanded him and the
  LORD shut him in (Gen. 716, NKJV)
• as God once shut the door to the ark, so one day
  he will shut the door to heaven!

When once the Master of the house has risen up
and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside
and knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open
for us, and He will answer and say to you, I do
not know you, where you are from (Lk. 1325,
NKJV)
