Tourist - Teaching focuses on the delivery of
information communication from the instructor.
Gunslinger - Teaching focuses on student
replication of a specific quantity of
information communication from the instructor to
the students.
Gardener - Teaching focuses on student

to the students, from students to instructor, and
from students to students.

SOLO Taxonomy
Blooms Taxonomy is useful for guiding the
development of questions at a range of levels but
it can not account for student responses
SOLO Structure of the Observed Learning Outcome
(Biggs Collis, 1982) SOLO Taxonomy can help
evaluate the level of student responses
especially for open-ended questions. It can serve
as a useful scoring rubric to distribute to
students before they answer a high-order question.
