  • Australia can be found in the South Eastern
    hemisphere of the Earth.
  • It is in the middle of two large bodies of water
    known as the Indian, and Pacific Oceans.

  • The longest river in Australia is named the
    Darling.
  • Mt Isa in Queensland is Australia's largest
    underground mine, silver, lead, zinc and copper
    come from here.
  • Australia has 20 000 square kilometers of
    rainforests.
