• USPS Definition of Standard Mail
• Standard Mail is a class of mail that weighs less
  than 16 ounces and
• consists of presorted, discounted rate offerings.
  Each mailing must consist
• of at least 200 pieces or 50 pounds of
  individually addressed pieces. There
• is no Standard Mail single-piece rate. Standard
  Mail comprises the
• subclasses of Regular Standard Mail, Enhanced
  Carrier Route Standard
• Mail and Nonprofit Standard Mail. Any mailable
  matter may be sent as
• Standard Mail except matter required to be sent
  as First-Class Mail or
• copies of publications authorized to be entered
  at qualifying Periodicals
• rates.
