dangerous goods storage and handling areas, and
isolation areas for aircraft with haz-mat.

4
Apparatus Driver/Operator
  • The firefighter must be able to operate the
    vehicle safely.
  • The firefighter must also be able the operate the

    the firefighter
  • Water is the agent of choice when dealing with a
    gravity bomb
  • Use copious amounts to cool the bomb

12
Light Signals
Exercise caution
13
Light Signals
Clear Runway

  • Not for use in pt under 12 years old
  • Insert until teeth are between black lines

16
Patient Assessment

    what happened?
  • Determine number of patients
  • If more than you can handle, call for assistance
  • Begin Triage

17
Assess Circulation
  • Assess major bleeding and control.
  • Assess perfusion, nailbeds, lips and eyes.
  • Assess skin temperature.
  • Assess skin condition.
  • Assess capillary refill in infant and small
    children

18
DCAP-BTLS
  • Assess Head
  • Assess Neck
